AGILE methodologies are a way to develop systems through a collaberative and iterative approach.
These methodologies provide the ability to deliver functional, tested components within the system in an iterative manner. This also provides the ablity to define, refine, and eliminated requirements throughout the life of the project.
A common misconception is that SCUM is the only methodology used to implement AGILE. It is the most common but not the only methodology.
We provide the ability to evaluate you current process and implement AGILE in the most efficent manner.
J. David Marks is a certified SCRUM master. If it is determined that SCRUM is a feasable methodology for you compnay, we provide the expertise to implement the process.
If it is determined that implementation of AGILE requires a methodology other than SCRUM we can provide the expertise to define and implement.
SCRUM has certain basic requirements that may not fit all companies. One of the basic requirements is self directed teams. Another is short 2-3 week delivery cycles that include customer demonstrations.
The ability for some companies to alter decades of process, culture, and infrastructure and implement SCRUM may not exist. There are many examples of failure to implement the process, especially in traditional DoD driven environments.
This does NOT mean AGILE is impractical. I means that other methodologies are required.
